EPC

An Energy Efficiency Certificate is meant to give a quote of the comparative energy effectiveness of a property. The certificates are commissioned by the seller/landlord (or their representative) from a recognized Residential Energy Assessor (DEA), who sees the home to gather the appropriate records and produces the certificate in question. This record consists of the date of construction of the property, furnace, insulation, and double glazing, etc., and elements in the Structure Regulations in force at the time of building of the main building and any extensions. Energy Performance Certificates (EPC’s)

EPC’s are required whenever a building is rented out, sold or built. Our Accredited energy assessors produce EPCs alongside an associated report which suggests improvements to make a building more energy efficient. The EPC is then lodged on the central EPC database. This can be carried out along side an Inventory Report. 1 – 2 bedroom properties are only £70 and 3 – 5 bedroom properties are £75.
